Sales of 'Tis a Gift: Christmas by Guitar directly support BBP, which assists children and youth in Brookings, SD, who are at risk of hunger by discreetly providing them with nutritious and easy-to-prepare meals and snacks for weekends and school vacations during the academic year. By helping to sustain these students until school resumes, BBP seeks not only to meet their nutritional needs but also to promote their physical, cognitive and social development, and to enhance their overall sense of well-being.

Sales of Phyllis's Child of All Earth CD directly support this nonprofit organization founded by humanitarian Marla Ruzicka. Ruzicka was killed in Baghdad in 2005 while advocating for the families of Iraqi civilians injured and killed in the crossfire. CIVIC has helped to create and fund legislation for war victims in Afghanistan and Iraq, to obtain urgently needed medical care, and to shine a spotlight on the devastating effects of war on innocent lives.

Sales of Phyllis's Friends CD and The Book of the World directly support this independent medical organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care in more than 70 countries.

This is the DWB fundraising page of Music2Care, recently started by Phyllis and singer/songwriter Kristi Holler. Music2Care is their effort to use street music to raise awareness of, and relief funds for, humanitarian crises in and beyond the United States. Freewill donations received by the duo when performing on the street are generally donated to DWB, although in some circumstances they may be sent to other humanitarian organizations.
